Dogs test the luck of the Irish in Bethlehem benefit parade
Friday, March 16th, 2007There was howling and gnawing, and plenty of pawing, as the second annual Celtic Breeds Doggie Parade got under way Saturday on Main Street in Bethlehem.
Behinds were sniffed and faces were licked, sometimes in that order. The parade drew a varied passel of pooches, from a 7-pound Italian greyhound named Marc Antony to a 120-pound bull mastiff named Tonka.
