Animals stolen during pet store break-ins

Police say several critters were stolen during two burglaries at a Waterloo pet store this week. Emporium Pets was broken into late Monday or early Tuesday when someone smashed out a door panel and took a 4-foot-long albino corn snake, a foot-long ghost corn snake, a pair of gecko lizards and a 3-month-old Italian Greyhound.
